Dimethylacetamide / DMAC

Dimethylacetamide (DMAC), which is produced by reacting dimethylamine with acetic acid, is one of the alkylamides, a polar solvent that is mixed with and dissolved into a wide variety of organic and inorganic materials, including water. It is used in various types of reaction solvents for synthetic fibers, synthetic resins, pharmaceutical and agricultural chemicals, and others. MGC is the only manufacturer of dimethylacetamide in Japan.
