2HEMA is a monomer based on methacrylic acid (MAA). Its features are reactive hydroxyl group and hydrophilicity. Its polymer is practically insoluble in common solvents. 2HEMA offers various used as raw material for paints and coatings, adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives, printing ink, photosensitive resins, and others.
